The Spiderman star crosses the Atlantic to lead The Devil All The Time, an explosive Midwestern Gothic tale spanning two decades, based on Donald Ray Pollock’s award-winning novel and directed by Antonio Campos.
Holland stars as Arvind Russel, a young orphan who must fight the evil forces that converge around him and threaten everything he holds dear. An unholy preacher (Robert Pattinson, The Lighthouse), twisted couple (Jason Clarke, Mudbound & Riley Keough, Mad Max: Fury Road), and crooked sheriff (Sebastian Stan, I, Tonya) all have a part to play, as Arvind must reckon with his dead father (Bill Skasgård, It)’s legacy.
Set in Knockenstoff, Ohio, bracketed by WWII and the Vietnam War, this suspenseful, finely-woven tale renders a seductive and horrific landscape that pits the just against the corrupted. Also starring Mia Wasikowska (Judy & Punch), Henry Melling (The Ballad of Buster Scruggs), Eliza Scanlen (Babyteeth) and Hayley Bennett (The Girl on the Train).
The Devil All The Time Releases globally on Netflix on September 16
