Today marks the launch of the pilot episode of Little Room (formerly known as The Agoraphobics Detective Society), an original concept whodunnit featuring an all-star transatlantic cast. Little Room is the brainchild of producer Maggie Monteith and was conceived as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic to raise money for freelancers impacted financially within the entertainment industry. 

The 30-minute episode features Brian Cox (‘Succession’, Churchill), Claes Bang (BBC / Netflix’s ‘Dracula’, The Square), Ian Harvie (‘Transparent’, ‘Young & Hungry’), Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (‘Misfits’, ‘Utopia’), Antonia Campbell-Hughes (‘Lead Balloon’, Kelly + Victor), Grace Van Patten (Good PostureThe Meyerowitz Stories), Nicole Ansari-Cox (Remember Me), Simon Kunz (The Parent TrapThe Foreigner), Josephine Butler (‘Doctors’, Dark Shadows) and journalist/presenter Mariella Frostrup.

When a renowned expert psychiatrist disappears without explanation, her distraught patients find themselves forming an alliance to find her, reads the synopsis. The episode has been written and directed by trio, Dolly Wells (Doll and Em, Good Posture), Suzi Ewing (10×10) and Heidi Greensmith (Winter). All crew and actors have filmed remotely from their homes.

Funds raised will go to the following relief schemes and split between the UK and US.
